What is Prompt Engineering?

Some years ago many developers has been sitting for couple of days/hours to code for the complex requirements. But now we have our game changer which is AI model. 

You might come across how to use ChatGpt for Abap coding which leverage a easy coding as per the need. 

In order to increase the chance of getting accurate result from the AI , we need to be expertise in Promt engineering. 

Prompt engineering is nothing but crafting a intelligent prompts for automate repetitive coding and error handling in SAP ABAP. 

SAP has embedded prompt engineering with SAP AI agent like SAP joule.

 
Now we will see why do we really need prompt engineering which leverages the power of AI to, 

1. Automating routine tasks , CRUD  operations and ALVs. 
2.Enhancing quality by automating testing phases. 
3. Boosting productivity by reducing repetitive tasks. 
4. It's even genarate detailed documentation.
